There should not be a problem fitting micro ATX in ATX mid tower casing although the form factor may be different. However, one should make sure one has a correct back plate for the micro ATX that can fit the mid tower casing; otherwise, it will be bare at the back. When one buy the motherboard, ask for the back plate to be supplied. Once you have this back plate, it is just a matter of finding a tower casing that will fit this back plate or rather if you already have the back plate, just make sure that the micro ATX has the correct size of back plate.
Have funWill a micro ATX motherboard fit and screw in in the right places in a ATX mid tower case?
Most likely, a microATX will work in a ATX case. MicroATX was designed to be backwards compatible with ATX.
However, if it doesn't work, you can try drilling holes to the motherboard tray.
