Computer builders! will micro atx mobo work in atx case well?

i want to build a basic pc, and i picked some parts i like,, the mother board was an intel micro atx...and the case i picked was a rosewill midtower atx case.... will this work ok? do you think a micro atx board will take most video cards?

thanks.Computer builders! will micro atx mobo work in atx case well?
Yes it will work/fit.

It just wouldn't work the other way around e.g. ATX mobo in Micro ATX case

(Because the case would be too small and the mobo would be too big)Computer builders! will micro atx mobo work in atx case well?
Yes, the board will fit in the case, and the video card will also work on the board as long as it has the right port for it (probably pci*16), although if you have an atx case I would definitely go for an atx board, as these will provide much more room for expansion. micro atx boards may be cheaper, but if you ever plan to expand on your computer, it could end up being quite costly because you might have to buy an atx board to have everything you need. It would be a better choice to go with an atx board outright, such as the asus p5n-d, which is what I plan to use on the pc I am currently building. Please don't think that ANY motherboard that someone recommends to you is the one for you just because they recommended it. Do the research on the board yourself, as people don't always know what is best for you.
A micro-ATX should fit in any case that can accept a regular ATX.

Whether or not the micro-ATX will take a given video card depends on the exact motherboard, but any recent motherboard should accept a wide variety of cards (perhaps not the extreme top end, though).
