In every case there are screw holes that you put your risers in.
If the case supports ATX or mATX motherboards then it will have the screwholes that will match your mATX motherboard as well as the holes that mathc an ATX motherboard.
When you buy a case then it should say which sized boards it accepts. Is it ok to use a Micro ATX motherboard in a ATX tower case?
you can do it as the others said. i like to use full atx towers with all the different atx boards simply because there is more room inside the case. a micro atx case usually is so cramped you have to practically disassemble the system to change the ram or processor. plus full atx towers have more 3 and a half slots and 5 and a quarter slots than you can use. go for it.Is it ok to use a Micro ATX motherboard in a ATX tower case?
Yep. As long as when you fit the I/O shield to the case and line up the I/O ports you can mount the board to the stays on the case. There are normally more stay holes drilled into the case than you actually need so you can fit a variety of different boards. Just check when you fit it that the cables from the PSU will travel far enough to power it.
yes i have a atx case and my mother board is Micro atx it just means that the case will have lots more room and slots that the micro cant reach but all essential components can still fit in there
It is ok, as long as the case supports mATX motherboards. Some cases will only work with ATX motherboards.
The case doesn't matter too much. As long as the motherboard fits in the case, you should be fine.
