What are the pro/cons of such a case. What are the pro/cons to having a Micro ATX case?
Many motherboards are availible nowadays that are in the MicroATX form factor. These motherboards are also usually inexpensive, and they are mainly used in places where space is an issue, such as a desktop, in a home entertainment system, or places where computers generally won't fit. Here's some pros and cons for you.
Pros:
Small form factor is easy to fit almost anywhere
Motherboards for the systems are relatively inexpensive
There are many motherboards out already that support this form factor
Cons:
Small cases generate more heat and need larger fans to move the air through it.
Most MicroATX cases only support Low Profile cards for expansion, which are not very common.
MicroATX motherboars usually have limited expandability due to space constraints on the board
Usually cannot get high-end graphics cards that will fit into the small space.
Hope this helps. What are the pro/cons to having a Micro ATX case?
If you are planing to build and you do not want to use a lot of space Micro is fine, depends what you want to put in it, if you go for a Midi ATX you can fit a larger assortment of Motherboards in it and have space for more Hardware Adds.
size is the pro the con is u can't fit all the components in it l8tr when u need 2
You got to worry about the cooling problem. When you have some thing with that small of a form factor the overall hardware cooling become an issue. The pro is the size factor but the con is that overall reliability and upgradability in the future.
