Will an ATX PC case and an ATX Motherboard always work with each other?

i am looking to build my own computer and i need to buy a Motherboard and a PC case. if i buy an ATX motherboard and an ATX PC case will they fit together and work with each other or might i have some problems?

A case is just the frame to hold all of the bits that make up a PC. Any case will work with any component. There are a few exceptions with graphics cards being too long for pre-built tower cases, but if you are buying a brand new case, size will definitely not be a problem.
