I bought a new PSU, but it looks bigger than what came with my HP. The HP mobo is a microATX and the new PSU says it's for an ATX mobo. I was just thinking that maybe it might work...Can I use a ATX power supply in a microATX case, or will it be too big?
It should work fine with the motherboard, however you might have some placing issues in the case.. If it doesen't fit, you can always keep it on top or something.Can I use a ATX power supply in a microATX case, or will it be too big?
placement wound most likely be an issue but you can always mod the case to make it fit
