i got an ATX mid tower case and it came with a power supply. now usually the front panel switch comes in one cord but its all split up. i think i got that part right but also coming from the panel is something that looks like it hooks into the power supply. one of the cords comes out and bridges into two. a four pronged and a four insert. they look like they can be plugged into each other. then the other cord is only a two prong. Can someone tell me how to hook this up.Power-up ATX Mid-tower case/need help!!?

usually the cord from the power button goes into the motherboard
any other cords from the front panel are usually for features like usb/firewire/memory card reader, they also o to the motherboard.
The best thing to do is the see your motherboard manual and case manual for hints on what goes where
