Will an atx motherboard fit into an atx mid tower case?

buying an asus atx mobo, need to know if it will fit into my atx mid tower case, also explain what mid tower meansWill an atx motherboard fit into an atx mid tower case?
It should. Mid-tower means it is 'middle height' (3-4 visible drive bays) versus a full-height tower (which are usually very tall comparitively speaking- like 7-10 visible drive bays)... A mini tower is usually a short computer case (maybe 1 or 2 visible drive bays-cd rom bays, etc). Will an atx motherboard fit into an atx mid tower case?
It should. Mid tower simply means isn't a full sized tower, or not as tall, having less CD-Rom, floppy and hard drive rack mounting points.
