I am looking to upgrade the power supply, but don't want to fry my motherboard or have an ill fitting component. Is this an upgrade I can safely make to the eMachines T5082?Would an eMachines T5082 case hold an Antec ATX 12V power supply upgrade?
Retail power supplies are usually 150mm (5.9 in.) wide. Measure your current power supply. Same width would ensure alignment of mounting holes.Would an eMachines T5082 case hold an Antec ATX 12V power supply upgrade?
more then likely it will, as the days of proprietary parts is all but dead. to be on the safe side, look into the return policy from the store you will be buying it from.
