Is there a problem if my power supply(atx case) is 400watts and my avr is 250 watts? my pc can't open?

Plug the PC directly into the wall socket and verify that it works ok before plugging anything else into the PC. Auxiliary AC outlets on your PC shouldn't limit the PC's power supply capability to power your motherboard and internal peripherals. However, the PC's AC cord is limited to a maximum current rating, so you should not exceed the Auxiliary AC outlet maximum current specified in your PC manual. Is there a problem if my power supply(atx case) is 400watts and my avr is 250 watts? my pc can't open?
